The "Marine Cosmetics Development and Environmental Protection Technology Seminar" jointly organized by the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Foshan Institute of Science and Technology, and Anshan International • Foshan Anshan Beauty and Health Products Co., Ltd., led by Guangdong Oceanographic Society, was held in the staff culture center of Gaoming Industrial Park of the Group Company on April 12.

The supervisor of the Provincial Oceanic Society and Director Wu of the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered an important speech at the seminar. Director Wu pointed out that the development prospects of marine bioactive peptides in cosmetics are immeasurable. The South China Sea Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Foshan University of Science and Technology, and An'an International Foshan An'an Beauty and Health Products Co., Ltd., after years of sincere cooperation, have jointly built an academician workstation and a demonstration base for the industry, academia, research, and industrialization of marine biological cosmetics. They are a leading example in exploring and promoting the innovative development pattern of "academy+research institute+enterprise". It is hoped that in the future, the three parties will further strengthen cooperation and mutual benefit.
In the academic presentation section, Professor Sun Huili from the South China Sea Institute of Oceanography, Chinese Academy of Sciences shared his research achievements on the high-value green utilization technology of marine protein peptides; Dr. Chen Hua provided an in-depth explanation of the research project on the application of marine bioactive peptides in cosmetics; Dr. Xu Feng from Foshan University of Science and Technology, in conjunction with relevant national environmental protection policies, gave an academic report on "Prevention and Control of Cosmetic Production Wastewater Pollution Based on Clean Production" at the conference, addressing the difficulties and problems currently faced by cosmetic production enterprises in wastewater discharge treatment. He presented his unique analysis and insights.
After the meeting, experts and scholars took a group photo with the attending company leaders and conducted on-site research and examination in the production workshop.

In 2017, this patented technology won the "China Patent Excellence Award" issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. In 2018, this patented technology won the gold medal of the 10th International Invention Exhibition and the 3rd World Innovation Forum.
